So, yeah this could possibly be my last blog post as the world is going to end tomorrow. Although maybe I'll reach the computer before the first earthquake starts. Anyway, I'm here to say my goodbyes.
Goodbye Morgan, I never forgot you.
Farewell Seacurl, I'm so glad you are my friend.
Banana the Hannah, thanks for always sticking by me.

Bye, mah Wingers. Luv ya!
Jordan and Sydney... well, I hope you remember me, for I am remembering you in my last blog post.
Oh, and goodbye to you reader. I doubt you'll ever hear from me again. The Apocalypse it a'comin.

The Aeneid

So, I have to write a story about the burning and rescuing of the Aeneid for Latin. I've never written a story with Latin dialogue, so this is gonna be fun... On the other hand, I don't actually have to read the Aeneid until I am an Advanced Placement Latin student which I will not be for a good three years. I've practically surrendered half my high school career to studying the language. Lucky, lucky me. Virgil's a writing genius, I'll give him that, but he'll torture me when I'm an AP junior!!

End of the Year Projects

Okay, so the teachers at my school have decided that, with only a few weeks of school left, that they should give us a lot of projects. Oh my gosh, this is not good. Most of these projects are due on the same day and I have officially one week to work on them, for next week is finals week! Pray for me and my projects!

There Can Be Miracles

Yes, I never used to believe in such things as miracles, but I am most certainly starting to. My bestie introduced me to a miracle story and I've been starting to find them everywhere. Some are believeable, some are certainly not. But... doesn't this mean a miracle can happen to me as well? Thank you God for giving second chances to the people whom you have, and please remember me, for soon I know I will need a second chance too.

Wow, that's a huge picture. But that's what I imagine miracles look like.

Tears

Why don't you shed your tears, dear stranger? Why do you hide them from the world, why are you embrassed? Are you truly content to let it rain, let the sky cry for you? I say you should shed your tears and splash the color they give on your life; yes, this is what I believe you should do. I see the sadness locked behind your wasted face, yet you do not release it. Yet you bundle all of it in a package much too small for any happiness to come from it. Let yourself cry, rather than explode from the anxiety that not will bring you. Let tears flow.

Love...

Love is a very fascinating subject for one such as I. I really wasn't one who liked to talk about love when I was a little kid because I just couldn't get my mind around it. I mean sure, I loved pizza and my parents and my little sister but I just didn't get it and I'm not sure I do now either.

At the moment I am in love outside my family and I still don't get it, but it's freakin wonderful.

I met the kid on the day before Valentines day at age eight, and it was far from love at first sight. We were just little kid friends, then little kids who thought they liked each other, and then we were a little older and got teased... this story, you know what I mean? But we're still together and we recently just started "dating" so they say. But I've loved him many years going and I'm so thankful he's in my life. <3

I guess because it's the only thing I feel like talking about anymore that I blog this now. It's crazy, it's a weakness, it's human, and I am so glad that I've got it. Everyone deserves to be loved.

Notebooks

I fill them in with perfect black ink. The letters are small and traced with thought. I love the way the paper looks so wonderful blank, ready to be filled with ideas. Then when it's full, I am so excited to read my own writing. Egotistical, right? Perhaps, but of course I do not think that way. I think. I think too much, according to the common human. Live life, love life, write life! In notebooks.

After the Second Happening {excerpt}

Cal’s mum never told him anything. What had Lydia been told? He assumes she only knows as much as he. Though she is not his sister, they grew up together, joined at the hip by the legend their parents participated in. He knew nothing, and he prayed she didn’t either.
Cal and Lydia sit patiently, listening to the two happeners tell their long, intricate story about what happened fifteen years previously. Neither of them were alive. "Tell me," Cal whispers to he quietly, "Did your mum and dad tell you of this before hand?"
She turns her bright, child's face up at him. "Never."
Cal smiles. One day he'll understand the story completely and fully. Of their trial, games, and the experience some say is only legend. One day he'll tell his own story. One day Cal will tell Lydia he loves her.
Excerpt from one of my stories. -Lithiya

What Did I Call Them? {poetry}

I called myself Dragonpen
For I love to fly and write
I called the little one Foxclaw
For she draws and fights
I called the perfect one Leszi
For the cartoon she invented
I called the crazy one Kazak
Because no name truly suits the demented
I called gentle one Peridot
For the man she adores
I called the singing one Ashred
For the hair he wore
I called the nervous brave one Riverjem
For his unique name
I called the haughty one Nighthiro
For her every game
I wrote a story bout them
Though they are very real
I wrote them in an epic poem
Until the end was sealed

The Great Bat-Winged Beasts

Dragons. They're never far from the mind of me. Dragons have fascinated me since my friend told me about them when I was ten years old. My name in the corner of the blog is the dragon sensei, my blog called the Dragon's Pen, my name the name of the great earth-dragon, Lithiya. So what's so great about dragons? Why do I refer to them whenever I write, and through my name?

There are several different interpretations of dragons in many different books. Dragons that guard huge masses of treasure, slaughtering knights and noblemen. Dragons that allow themselves to be tamed and ridden. Every color, every name, every size, dragons range from the smallest mice to the largest building and more. But the truth about dragons is all up to your interpretation. And I believe fully that the great bat-winged beasts, as I like to call them, are real. Absolutely and truly. I believe that all dragons have special powers that allow them to have fire in their stomachs and fly, despite their enormous size. But I'm not trying to force my dragon beliefs down any one's throat- I'm just talking to the world at large about how I feel.

What I really hate are the people who try to crush my beliefs, and I'm sure anyone else who believes in anything would agree. I hate being told you're stupid, dragons aren't real, their a figment of your imagination. No, no. You are the figment of my imagination and I am about to push you out of my head. That's how I deal with the crushing-beliefs people.

By the wings of dragons...

Hello, my name is...

Hello, my name is... That's what you see on those stickers for little kids! Why would I want to start a blog like that? Because it's cliche? Yes, I suppose. That way people will think I'm just some child who doesn't know how to maike up their own phrases. Well I know how to do that. But to finish my prior statement, I don't have a given name. I have names, but none are my true name. You can call me Lithiya. My friends all call me different names, but for all the readers, I prefer Lithiya.

I am an author, and my mission is to set out to find the author's purpose. What is it? Stop asking stupid questions, it's my mission! I don't know yet! But I'm working on it. Someday i will be published. But for now, I have to resort to blogging and journaling and writing short stories by hand. (It's so much more fun writng short stories by hand... though novels turn out better if you type them).

I believe in dragons. Shun the non-believer.

Read on, if you must...
